Blurring the line between reality and fiction, the film follows Simphiwe and his crew as they navigate addiction, poverty, performative politics, and the lure of fleeting fame. At the center of their journey is a phenomenon known as Resignation Syndrome—a mysterious illness affecting the marginalised, causing them to "fall asleep" to life itself.
